I rarely laugh out loud, but with this I did.

The animation, sound effects, and voices were all great. Loved it all.

Plus and minus

On the one side, yes, your animation here was fantastic. Very well done, and it looks amazing. It IS sad that no one will help you with this project.

On the flip side, being angry about none of the "high end" artists being interested does two things - it takes a shot at anyone you may not have even considered as worthy to help you with this project, and it also ignores the fact that these people have their individual projects and are more likely to reach for flash animation fame on their own with their own works. It's not fair of you to be angry at them for not wanting to help you with your project. It's disappointing, myabe even depressing, but such is the way of it.

I know how you feel - I've had similar problems in another medium (not flash animation.. I can draw and technically animate, but haven't had the time or patience to complete an animation yet), but you can't expect others to pick up on your ideas. It would be great if people were more team-oriented, but especially in the anonymity and microspotlight mentality of the internet, it's just not as likely to happen.

Hopefully someday someone will give you the help you need to finish this project, as it what little I saw here looks awesome.

Maybe I didn't word it quite right then, as I can't help but to be angry (My hard work is as good as Cat Food now) but I do know where the fault lies. If I had the talent to pull it together, it wouldn't be a problem.
There isn't a single human soul I haven't considered. I've received zero offers that I have not responded to in the affirmative yet. I haven't looked at a cell of animation, much less turned anything down.

I guess in my 'rage' I felt like my anger was justified. I did have a character animator, the guy who I started this project with, and though he was 100% interested, and 100% talented, his 'moods' and procrastination turned up a hand full of drawings after 6 months.

I'm mad more than anything at the fact that everything seems to have to balanced out. Matter cannot be created or destroyed, for every particle there is a anti-particle, every light casts a shadow, on and on. Well, talented people have the same balance. Great skill comes with great procrastination, or other things that hold them back. I have the same problems, and so its not just me mad at others. Its just too damn bad.

That is partly why I chose to do EVA. No one is going to be interested in helping me turn my book into animation. I guess I figured there would be a EVA fan out there with the talent AND determination.

Anyway, nothing wrong with disagreeing with me. Thanks for your time and response.

Crude, but very enjoyable

The short after the credits was unexpected but delightful.

The animation throughout could be a little stiff, but was overall very good.

THis made me smile

-2 stars for lack of creativity as Jesus doing not-so-holy things has been done to death, but I must say I loved his keychain, his expression and Satan's when he entered hell, and the sleigh. Wonderful. I am annoyed that people accuse you of ripping of animation styles, as.. well.. there are really a limited number of "cartoony" styles, and yours didn't remind me of either Ren and Stimpy OR Egoraptor. O_o It just looked like standard modern cartooning to me.

Very simplistic style, but very enjoyable.

The repetitive walking SFX was a little annoying, but the voices were clear and well acted. The ending was very amusing.

[A sad new years story.]

Not too bad.

I think the music was well chosen, and although short, the animation had an artistic flair to it that I appreciated. It was a little confusing, but I think I understand what happened to the girl. Although I do feel that "have a sad christmas" was not a very appropriate end tagline (it felt like it cheapened the video), it made sense. It just wasn't, I suppose, the best choice of words artistically.

Cute :D

This wasn't funny in a way that had me falling over laughing, but I found it genuinely enjoyable to watch. It didn't have that "I'm here for your 5's bitches!" feel that so many flashes have, and thus, I feel it deserves my 5 all the more. :3

Animation and audio were both smooth. There wasn't a lot of real animating needed, butwhat was there was done well. The art was clean and the designs interesting.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I'm really NOT here for the 5's, so I guess that's why you got that vibe. I just do these to make people happy. If they get 5's and awesome reviews like yours, all the better I guess, because then maybe more people will see them and be happy! :)

That was very well animated, the sound effects were well placed and appropriate for the flash, and the music was equally well selected. I truly enjoyed this short. ; )
